This is my design for the curtains/drapes in the drawing room.I made the AutoCad design simple, to show the basic shape of the curtains. People in the group have looked at this design and have asked for a more elaborate dessign. AutoCad is a hard programme to use so the hand drawn designs for the curtains/drapes will show more detail.

Your plan is fine, just look up the system requirements and cost of AutoCAD for the PC before you start making purchases.
